Navigating Visa Classifications for your Career
Roark Miller, Director of the International Faculty & Scholars Office, and Emily Kawahara, International Student Advisor in the International Students & Programs Office, will discuss common questions that postdocs and graduate students in J-1, H-1B, and F-1 status have pertaining to their nonimmigrant status, including eligibility for outside employment, planning your next nonimmigrant status in tandem with institutional policies and government regulations, and employment-based permanent residence filing.
After the presentation, visa advisors will offer individual advising appointments to the attendees.
Light refreshments will be served.
